I’m sure they’re equally as excited to have you onboard. I know you’re busy with multiple showings today, so I promise to make this quick, ok?
I appreciate that. You know, ever since earning my license and working with CBI, it’s been a whirlwind of meetings with buyers, sellers, ongoing training… it’s not like graduating from college or high school when you think that’s it. Coldwell Banker provides ongoing training that covers literally everything imaginable regarding the real estate industry.
You must have seen my list of questions! You’re jumping ahead to like Number Three!
Really? Honestly, I didn’t peek! In fact, I have no idea what you’re going to ask me!
That’s ok, I was just teasing…sort of. But I did have a note here to ask you about your training. How did you make the decision to study for the real estate exam and become an agent?
Actually, I kind of fell into the rental property management industry about 15 years ago.
“Fell into the industry”?
It’s a long story, but I discovered right away that I really enjoyed helping families find a home, a place to live. From there it was always in the back of mind to become a real estate agent.
So how did you to come to Coldwell Banker Innovations exactly?
Believe it or not, I was a CBI client! It was just a little over 3 years ago and I contacted CBI to help me in the search for a home. I can’t tell you how impressed I was with the service, attention to detail and realism, the tremendous amount of care the entire team showed. I mean, I was just one homebuyer out of many, but they treated me with so much sincerity and were just so…genuine, that’s the right word! It left such an amazing impression on me!
Wow! To say that is a glowing review would be a tremendous understatement!
I know, it sounds like I’m trying to be the teacher’s pet or something, but it’s really so true. Everyone on this team is such a class act, not only couldn’t I imagine ever working for a different real estate agency, I actually decided to make real estate my career based on how dedicated the CBI family really is. Sounds a bit strange, doesn’t it?
Actually, not at all. I’ve interviewed several agents over the years and the sense of family is really a running theme.
And going back even further, years and years ago, I worked with Steve Davis when selling a home. He was amazing! When he heard I was joining the team he was so gracious, offering me advice and guidance. He remembered me from that long ago, and he’s still working with CBI. To me, that says a lot!
Indeed! Steve’s an incredible agent, it sounds like you have a good mentor.
He’s definitely that, but he’s also become a good friend.
